Storage

- Bird Bread should not be reheated in a plastic container.

Preparation

- May make up to 30% of the daily diet.
- For maximum nutrition, use 1 TBS organic palm fruit oil instead of cooking oil when baking.
- Preheat oven to 350F (177C) . Combine entire bag of mix with 2 whole organic eggs - no shell (remove yolk for less fat), 1 TBS high quality organic vegetable oil (or red palm fruit oil), and 1 cup (235 ml) water.
- Fill greased bread pan or muffin and bake for 25-35 minutes. Glass cookware is safe for birds.
- Do not bake in nonstick (PTFE-coated) cookware, as the fumes are toxic to birds.
- If prepared with the addition of fruits, vegetables or nuts, Bird Bread should be considered a "treat" and fed only in limited quantities (no more than 10% of the daily food allotment when combined with all other treats).
- Can be served warm.

Parrotlets favorite food 12/24/2015
I needed to supplement my parrotlets diet and this bird bread with the Sunshine factor was recommended to me by a vet and its now her favorite food/treat of all, plus she is getting all of her needed nutrition. LOVE this product and how natural it is!

The Sopranos love their bread. 11/25/2015
Converting the Sopranos six rescue parakeets from a horrible seed diet to the Harrison Super Fine High Potency diet I baked some of this bread as muffins. After three tries they finally discovered it and they devoured all that I put out. Although I offer some high quality seeds, they now prefer to eat the pellets and the seeds make up a very small portion of their diet. Hopefully, it will be eliminated altogether.
