    - Harrison's suggests a maximum of 10% of the daily diet be made up of rich sources of omega 3 items (organic chia, flax, hemp seeds etc. as well as certain nuts high in omega 3)
    - Use of a gram scale is encouraged.

    Additional Needs

    - The importance of exercise in pet birds cannot be understated. Learn more about ways for your bird to exercise.
    - Some bird species require regular access to direct sunlight for optimal health.
    - Life enrichment, ie; foraging activities, puzzle toys, frequent social interaction and other enrichment methods are necessary to keep most pet birds healthy and happy. A lonely, bored pet bird is more sucseptible to illness than a busy, active bird.

Birds do great on this. 3/10/2022
We bought 2 lovebirds for our daughter. At first we used the food that the breeder said to get. The birds were wasting more than they were eating. My daughter watched a youtube channel of a girl that does bird things. She recommended this food so we ordered it. Her birds are doing better on this food. They do not waste it like they did the other food. A 5 lb bag lasts a long time for them. Definitely recommend this food.

Only Food I Will Use 6/6/2018
My first Cockatiel Mozart ate Harrisons his entire life. He lived to be 29 1/2, though the avian specialist said you rarely see one in a cage live past 19. He loved the food and was always in wonderful condition. My new rescue Cockatiel Romeo now eats Harrisons and he loves it too. This is an excellent formula and I am so grateful that it is available for my feather babies.

Great for Special Needs Mice, and Birds of All Types! 2/8/2018
I use this food mixed with two other bird foods for two mice who have special dietary requirements due to poor genetics. They took to it almost immediately, and it was the first thing they eat out of their bowl. In the mix, this food helps to keep the protein level just right for my girls. I have also used this as a base for wild mice Ive rescued from traps before I could get out to release them in a nearby preservation without downsides. They did very well on it. One mouse was severely malnourished when I found her, and she could barely move and was covered in urine. I fed her some harrisons mixed with water and within hours she had regained enough strength to move around her cage.. Unfortunately she was in such poor condition she didnt make it through the night. My vet was also very pleased to hear that my 3 year old cockatiel is on Harrisons. She was very surprised to hear about how easily he took to it, and was glad I offer it.

    Superstar Canary 1/4/2018
My sister had a little yellow female canary that ate pelleted food for most of its life with seed only as a treat. The last five years of its life it ate Harrisons adult formula fine. That canary lived for 15 years! I had always read that the lifespan of canaries is 10 years. I feed my congo grey parrot the adult fine now. He likes to dunk the smaller pellets before eating them, and there is far less mess than with the larger pellets. My grey parrot is 27 years old now and Im anticipating many more years

    Overall healthier looking bird 3/30/2016
My Green-Cheek Conure took to this food only after a few days. She only eats it dry. Weeks after starting her on this food, I noticed a huge improvement with her feathers. Three years later, she still eats Harrisons adult lifetime fine regularly, along with other supplements -- she loves grapes and apples, as well as carrots and celery. As a treat Ill generally give her a piece of a grape or Lafebers Nutri-berries.

best food for my ekkie! 8/10/2015
My eclectus Snoopy has had toe tremors on and off on different foods over the years. I was prepping food daily up to this past December when a friend told me Harrisons Adult Fine was the lowest formula in vitamin content. I have since siwthed Snoop to the AL Fine and he has been doing beautifully. No tapping, great feathers and feet! Loads of energy too! Thank you Dr. Harrison!

Our Food For 20 Years! 7/27/2015
When I bought my rainbow lorikeet in 1995 I was told to feed her colored pellets and corn with a selection of fruits. After a few days I called the store to ask if this was a joke. All she did was play with it all except the corn. So I researched until I found Harrisons organic bird foods. I was happy with what I read and placed an order. When I got it- delivery has always been prompt, I mixed it with water to make a cereal type texture that I knew she would like and she has been eating the Adult Lifetime Fine ever since. With some corn and papaya as treats. I am so happy I have Harrisons as a very healthy food for her, we would have both gone crazy had I not found it. When our community finally got an Avian veterinarian she knew about Harrisons and was very happy that Rainy was so healthy. Her Avian vet. now is thrilled when he sees her as her feathers and general health are outstanding. Harrisons Bird Diet is a very large part of this. Plus she does love her Harrisons mush.

    Happy healthy birds! 5/28/2015
My green-cheeked conure was on a pelleted diet before Harrisons. He took to the Harrisons pellets immediately. I thought I was doing a good job by feeding him pellets, but switching his diet to Harrisons resulted in a much brighter, healthier and better behaved bird. Ive convinced many of my bird-owning friends to do the same, and they have all been thrilled with the resulting health benefits and their birds vibrant new plumages. Harrisons for life!

    Best Food! 6/5/2014
This is the only food my bird has ever had. I have had him since he was a baby 9 years ago. It is well worth the money when our Vet stated how healthy my bird is. I will never change his food.

Adult Super Fine is Super Fine! 5/24/2014
My little Hahns Macaw, Phoebe, has been thriving on Harrisons super fine bird food for over 15 years. Her color was becoming dull and her beak was becoming deformed prior to using Harrisons. Phoebe is my baby and I am sooooooooooo grateful to Harrisons superior product for keeping her healthy.

    Amazing! 10/9/2013
I converted my STUBBORN cockatiel to this pelleted diet, from his crazy fascination with seed. He is now eating pellets with veggies and his feathers have become so soft, shiny and well-oiled. They hardly break like they used to and he hasnt fallen sick once in the past 1.5yrs. Till he was 6 months old he was on seed, he would always be lethargic & the vets thought it could be diabetes. Now hes bouncing off the walls with energy, in a very good mood, sleeps well, and doesnt stop talking/chirping/singing. Really glad I made the switch!
