    1) Use up opened Harrison’s bags within six weeks. Do not feed from a bag opened longer than six weeks.
    2) Note “use by” dating on bag. Do not feed foods past this dating.

    Freezing grain based foods does indeed slow the break-down process of oils contained within.
    Freezing/refrigeration, along with squeezing excess air and storing in the original bag is the best way to keep Harrison’s as fresh as possible.

    That said, there is no instance or method available that will change Harrison’s strict recommendations to use up open bags within six weeks or to never use the food past “use-by” dating.

    Harrison’s does not require minimum purchases and we encourage people to only by Harrison’s in amounts they can use up within these periods..
