PREMIUM, CERTIFIED ORGANIC SEEDS FOR BIRDS

Harrison’s premium certified organic seeds are not grown with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, artificial fertilizers (ammonia) and are GMO-free (genetically modified organisms). Our seeds are certified organic by third-party organic certifiers and meet strict USDA Organic requirements.
Many popular seed mixes fed to pet birds are treated with insecticides after harvest to prevent bug infestation during storage. Harrison's seeds are kept free of insect infestation using proper containers, clean warehouse techniques, insect traps and refrigeration.
Veterinarians see many cases of liver disease that they feel are due to secondary toxin exposure. Most of these birds were fed seeds or seed/ fruit mixes with uncertain pesticide content; no alfatoxin testing and have sulfur dioxide used as a preservative.

These premium seeds can be fed for the following purposes:
•  To add appeal to baked treats like Harrison's Bird Bread Mixes
•  As occasional treats. Not to exceed 5% of the diet
•  Used with Builder as an organic conversion tool prior to being switched to a formulated diet to improve health previously compromised by preservatives, pesticides and an unbalanced diet.
•   As a high fat supplement to stimulate breeding.
